The following files are included in this bundle:

*	symas-openldap (i.e. server installer) contains all client, server, and components required to stand up a fully functional LDAP directory. This is the most commonly installed package.

*	symas-openldap-client contains only client libraries and command-line LDAP utilities. Install this on systems where command-line access to LDAP services is needed but where the server software is not required. Installing this package does not count against your total number of supported servers.

*	symas-openldap-nonopt removes optimization flags from the standard server/client install. This reduces performance, but increases debugging and troubleshooting abilities. Install this package only when requested by Symas Technical Support. This package is only found with Symas OpenLDAP gold.

*	symas-openldap-devel can be installed if the purpose is to develop software based on libraries that are a part of Symas-openldap. It is also possible to compile overlays and backends for Symas openldap. Note that support of LDAP servers that use customer-developed overlays or backends may incur additional fees.

*	Symas-OpenLDAP-RelNotes.txt lists new features, fixes and changes for this release Symas openldap.

*	Symas-OpenLDAP-UpgradeNotes.txt contain release-specific alerts and instructions for upgrading the software in the event of performance-impacting scenarios.

*	Symas-OpenLDAP-Licenses.txt contains the Open Source software license information for the included components.

For each package file listed above, there are two additional, identically-named, files with the extensions .md5 and .sha256. These files contain the checksums for each of the installers and can be used to verify their integrity. The following examples show how to perform this verification using either of those files:

md5sum --check symas-openldap-*.md5
sha256sum --check symas-openldap-*.sha256
